CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations with more than 48hrs notice before departure of the trip will be refunded fully.

Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice before departure of the trip will not be refunded. In case of a no-show on any of our trips, refunds will NOT be made.

All cancellations must be made in writing and should be sent to info@hyperborea.is. If it is not possible for you to send us your cancellation via email, please call +354 6592347.

No exceptions are made to our cancellation policy for any reason, including neither personal or medical, weather or other forces of nature, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, international or internal (domestic) flight cancellations, nor any other reason beyond our control.

WEATHER & CONDITIONS

Hyperborea reserves the right to cancel a tour when the company considers that safety cannot be guaranteed ,Because of extreme weather, road conditions or other factors. In this case, a full refund or a reschedule to a different date will be offered to our customer.

CLOTHING

All personal clothing should be appropriate and not increase the level of risk for the participant and/or group. It is important to prepare for the Icelandic weather. Bring a good pair of outdoor hiking boots, with ankle support. A couple layers including a rainproof and windproof jacket, gloves, and a hat.

VALIDITY OF PRICES

All rates quoted or shown in our tariffs are based on current prices. All prices mentioned on this site include value-added tax.Hyperborea reserves the right to alter or change already published prices on the website without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such costs increases that is outside Hyperborea´s control.

DISCLAMER OF LIABILITY

All persons participating in the Hyperborea’s trips, do so entirely at their own risk. On Hyperborea trips, it’s staff and the company shall not be liable for any damage, loss, theft, injury, accident, illness or death suffered by any person, howsoever caused during a Hyperborea’s trips, hike, walk or excursion of any kind.

ALCOHOL & DRUGS

Hyperborea and their guides reserve the right to prohibit any client to participate in any trip if any clue shows that the person is under the influence of ANY illegal drug and/or alcohol. Zero tolerance is taken to any illegal drugs or alcohol. If there is any inappropriate behavior on participants behalf that can upset or put other participants at risk, guides can terminate the participation and full cancellation charges apply. No refund shall be given.
