What to expect?
Join us for an exciting day trip from Reykjavik to Kerlingafjöll, starting with a morning departure in a sturdy super jeep made for Iceland’s rugged terrain. We’ll begin by driving through Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can take in the breathtaking views and learn about the area’s geology. Next, we’ll visit Gullfoss waterfall to marvel at its powerful cascades and feel the mist on our faces.
Afterward, we’ll venture deeper into the Highlands toward Kerlingafjöll, navigating through rough trails and crossing rivers together in the super jeep. Upon arriving, we’ll explore the colorful mountains and unique geothermal features of Kerlingafjöll. We’ll hike up Snækollur peak for stunning panoramic views of Hofsjökull and Langjökull glaciers and then descend to wander through Hveradalir, where bubbling mud pools and hot springs create a surreal landscape.
As the afternoon draws to a close, we’ll journey back to Reykjavik, enjoying more scenic views along the way and reflecting on our adventurous day in Iceland’s pristine wilderness.
