What to expect?

Once we gather at the Sólheimajökull parking lot, we’ll take a 20-minute walk to the glacier’s spectacular tongue. Here, you’ll receive a safety briefing, get help with your gear, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

The hike is relatively easy and suitable for almost anyone. For about two hours, we’ll explore the glacier’s striking blue ice, jagged ridges, and black volcanic sand. A highlight of the tour is visiting a breathtaking natural ice cave, where you can step inside, take photos, and experience the glacier from within.
