Hyperborea is proud to announce our significant step with the Travelife for Tour Operator & Travel Agents scheme!

Travelife is an internationally recognized program that offers training, management, and certification in sustainability for tourism businesses. We chose Travelife for Tour Operator & Travel Agents for our sustainability engagement because it is a GSTC-Global Sustainable Tourism Council recognized certification program.

As a responsible tourism operator, we understand the importance of sustainable tourism practices, and we believe that third-party certification is essential to ensure our commitment to sustainability.

Currently, we are at stage 1 of the Travelife certification program, known as Travelife Engaged. This stage involves the development of a sustainable management system and a commitment to continual improvement in sustainability performance. Our next goal is to reach stage 2, Travelife Partner, by meeting the standards of over 100 sustainability criteria that can be grouped into five key areas: Office operations, Product development, Working with suppliers, Customer relations, and destinations.

We are committed to achieving the highest level of certification, Travelife Certified, by the end of 2023. At Hyperborea, we understand that achieving sustainability is a journey, and we are dedicated to continuously improving our sustainability practices through regular training, raising awareness among our staff and suppliers, and developing a culture of sustainable management and practices.

We can not wait to get certified and even more important we can not wait to become more sustainable!! Stay tuned!
